New Mexico is home to an astonishing variety of native bee species—over 1,000, to be exact! These bees are adapted to our state's diverse landscapes, from arid deserts to lush mountain meadows, making them perfectly suited to thrive in our unique environment. Through their diligent work, they help maintain the health and vitality of our natural habitats, supporting not only plant life but also the animals and humans who depend on these ecosystems.
